It may seem like Joe Biden is set to have surprisingly strong showing on #supertuesday2020, what with these endorsements from Amy Klobuchar, Pete Buttigieg, & Beto O'Rourke. But this is charade to project strength before media establishment that wants Biden to save them.

Thread.
New York Times published a comprehensive report on Biden's campaign infrastructure (or lack thereof) prior to his South Carolina victory. #supertuesday2020 nytimes.com/2020/02/26/us/…
In Alabama, Democratic House minority leader indicated Biden had poor level of engagement with voters. #SuperTuesday
In Arkansas, the chair of Arkansas Democratic Party said, "He hasn't been here. Of all the campaigns, the least organized in Arkansas is Biden." #SuperTuesday
In California, Biden has had only one office in East Los Angeles. Probably very, very few volunteers to canvas voters. #SuperTuesday
Multiple North Carolina Democrats said they "knew of only one Biden campaign staff member in the state." #SuperTuesday
Chairwoman of the Tennessee Democratic Party suggested Biden was taking voters in the state for granted. #SuperTuesday
Texas Democratic Party chairman Gilberto Hinojosa indicated Biden's "ground game" was basically non-existent. "I haven't seen anything other than the events he's had in Texas." #SuperTuesday
Biden's campaign was in such sad shape after Iowa and New Hampshire that he had to pull staff from Super Tuesday states #SuperTuesday
Rep. Jim Clyburn, widely credited with ensuring Biden's victory in South Carolina, said days ago, "We will have to sit down and get serious about how we retool this campaign, how we retool fundraising, how we do GOTV..."

Isn't it too late to fix all this?
Can last-minute endorsements and resurge in establishment media efforts to sell Biden to voters as viable again work? Or will voters see Biden failed to fund and organize a campaign infrastructure that could demonstrate he truly had strong campaign? #SuperTuesday
Democratic Party leaders throughout country have recognized Biden's weakness. Fortunately for Biden, most are willing to look past it. Will voters? Or will they see this as sign Bernie Sanders is far more capable of mobilizing voters to defeat Trump in November? #SuperTuesday
