Important to remember that in those states in which Blacks are above 10%, Biden also wins the majority of Whites, too. Basically, "diversity"—or more specifically, a significant presence of Blacks—changes the character of all voters.
Social democracy functions in high-trust societies. As Robert Putnam demonstrated, "diversity" lowers levels of trust *between* racial groups and also *within* groups. In Diverse societies, an individual is less likely to want to help his neighbor, even if he's one of his own.
