USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71)'s visit to Danang

1/ The latest pictures of USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and USS Bunker Hill (CG-52) in Danang.

CG-52 is now docked at Tien Sa Port while CVN-71 must be moored outside because of its huge size.

From here on, visitors could board CG-52 at the dock but to get into CVN-71, people have to sign up for seats in one of the Grumman C-2A Greyhounds parked at Đà Nẵng airport.

12/ Many American and Vietnameses sailors have been out hunting for souvernirs since yesterday.

Vietnamese love Zippo lighters, crests, mugs and so on. As for the American, pith helmets seem to be in high demand 🤣

Gosh, the space below is huge!

15/ It seems that various planned activities to commemorate the 25th anniversary of bilateral ties normalization have been canceled due to Covid-2019.

That being said, some Vietnam media outlets still get to visit the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier.
