The 2016 election arguably set back the cause of electing a woman president. I've lost count of how many voters I met on the road who said they loved Elizabeth Warren but wouldn't vote for her because they just didn't believe the country would elect her.

No word on whether she will endorse, or who. Her 2016 decision here is notable: declined to endorse Clinton or Sanders, instead decided to use her leverage to shape eventual nominee’s agenda. Warren understands leverage.

Warren had a successful summer, branding herself with countless policy plans, avoiding conflict with rivals, making gains on electability, rising to frontrunner status and drawing some massive crowds over 10,000.

Then it all began to slip away.
