Sanders tells @Maddow re: a potential Bernie-Warren ticket: “It’s too early to talk about that. But certainly I have a lot of respect for Senator Warren and would love to sit down and talk to her about what kind of role she can play in our administration.”
Interesting: Bernie Sanders, pressed twice by @maddow on whether he‘d explicitly reject Bloomberg spending $ to help beat Trump if he’s the nominee, says only that Bloomberg can do what he wants with his money and that the Sanders goal is to fix the system.
Bernie Sanders on his problems with black voters: “We’re running against somebody who has touted his relationship with Barack Obama for eight years... It’s not that I’m not popular. Biden is running with his ties to Obama, and that’s working well.”
Maddow asks Sanders if there’s any chance he and Biden form a unity ticket.
“You mean two old white guys on the ticket?” Bernie quips. “Probably not... One old white guy is probably one too many for some. I think we need a little bit more diversity than that.”
