Her candidacy was an existential threat to people who ought to feel existentially threatened.

The other offers progressive solutions, but his theory of change is to make demands and insist that others bend to meet him. I don't believe that will work.

I'm thankful to Elizabeth Warren for the campaign she ran. I'm thankful to her campaigners for giving me an inkling.
And I'm regretful that we, as a party, did not take this opportunity.

It's going to be a long campaign, and it's still essential that a Democrat beat Donald Trump in November. I'll be there for that fight with you all.
But we'll have a worse government when we win.
Worse, I fear, than we require.
