They have no rights to check or confiscate citizens mobile phones. If they are doing their jobs accountably and transparently the record will reflect same. People take my pictures daily in public places and even do selfies even as a private citizens. I can’t press charges.

How do you determine malicious intent just from people recording the conduct of your men who are not even police officers?! Police officers are not above the law and recording their activities is never a crime by any law in the land. Are you writing your own laws?!

By all means gather evidence of public officers operating the culture of impunity. Be smart about it. You need not necessarily hold a phone to their face. There are other means. Expose them and shame their generations. Nigeria is a democracy. Kick out indiscipline.
