Kudlow on CNBC saying he disagrees with @jasonfurman’s fiscal stimulus proposal. Also says “the vast majority of Americans are not at risk for this virus” which seems like an aggressive guess. Says they are open to targeted and timely sectoral responses (eg airlines)
Kudlow and Cramer now talking about how it would be good to put some smart people in a room with a billion dollar budget and tell them to solve this problem.
Carl Quintanilla tells Larry Kudlow people are annoyed he came on CNBC last week and told people to buy the dip, and now the market has fallen 9 percent more. He asks: Should people buy the dip now. Kudlow: “Yes. Yes. Well... I don’t do predictions.”
Kudlow now saying the cancellation of so many corporate meetings and conferences is an overreaction, and he wishes fewer had been canceled.
Carl Quintanilla looked skeptical of Kudlow through this interview and David Faber looked outright pained.
