Gotta call this out.

The media is SO DAMN IRRESPONSIBLE.

The NYT tweeted that Barr said spying occurred on the Trump campaign...without any qualification, context, using "claimed' instead of said, nor a follow up correction.

And so this tweet lives on, misinforming the public.
The Washington Post did a better job...they provided context, conveyed the gravity of such an assertion, and used "thinks" instead of presenting the claim as a fact.

However, no follow up was issued when Barr clarified his claim.

And this tweet lives on.
#WATCH: Barr was ultimately forced to clarify.

First, he said that he meant "unauthorized surveillance" not "spying."

...AND...

"I AM NOT SAYING IMPROPER SURVEILLANCE OCCURED. I am saying that I am concerned about it and am looking into it. That's all."

Ok so you wanna know abt the actual organization and strata of neo nazis and how to spot them when they arent american history x obvious? Well okay then!
So, there are a few tiers of nazi in the US, as i reckon them.

1. Alt right - public face and canon fodder

2. Neo confederates - this is the Klan and p much any hate not heritage assholes

3. Nazi gangs and terrorist orgs - the real scary guys, the AB etc, actual murderers.
4. Christian identity groups - this is orgs like the Aryan nations, they use fundamentalism as a recruiting tool.

5. Neo nazi political organizations and far right think tanks - these are not always obvi Nazis but they inform public policy and politics.
