This piece by NPR claims that HIndu-Americans who support Modi do so because of “Hindu Nationalism” & because we want Hindus to “have a favored place in India”. Uhhh no. We support Modi because he is the first Indian Prime Minister to...
treat ALL Indians, INCLUDING Hindus, equally.

What American journalists fail to grasp is that despite Hindus being the majority population in India, they have been callously disregarded, disrespected, & suppressed in their own damn country.

Under Modi’s leadership, Hindus...
are finally being treated with the same respect as other groups. This is clearly threatening to those who would prefer Hindus remain quiet, meek, & self-effacing. And speaking of other groups in India, I’ll just say this:
When you’re used to special treatment, sometimes equality feels like a demotion.

To the dumbbells using the term “Hindutva” to describe Hindu-Americans who stand up for themselves & support Modi, you should know that until 6 months ago, I (and many other Hindu-Americans) had never even heard of that term & we didn’t know WTF you guys were talking about...
Now of course I more fully understand what the label is all about & how it’s cleverly used to bully, intimidate, & silence any Hindu who has the balls to push back against the denigration & destruction of their indigenous religion & culture. To those people I now say:

From cruise missiles to laser-guided bombs, antiship missiles to smart weapons & modern radars and avionic systems, a new aircraft designed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) promises a lot. The plane, for which design work is complete, doubles as a fighter trainer.
The IAF has not made any demand for it. HAL CMD R Madhavan recently said HAL no longer waits for IAF’s requirements. "We're confident of doing R&D and offering a product. We're even looking at markets outside,” he said.

Breaking: Large terrorist attack in #India. More than 40 Indian Reserve Police Force personnel were killed and many others injured when Pakistani backed terrorists targeted a convoy with a car bomb at Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir's today, ndtv.com/india-news/15-…
Reports suggested that the vehicle used by the terrorists was a Mahindra Scorpio carrying more than 350 kg of explosives in what is the worst attack ever on security personnel in the state.
Sources said that terrorists triggered the car bomb while 78 vehicles with over 2,500 reserve police men were on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. The stretch on which the incident occurred had been sanitized in the morning & authorities called it a serious breach of security.
