Who needs a medically competent response when you have PRAYER. Let’s wish the virus away 🙏 🦠
Please do pray according to whatever believes you may hold. But for prayer to be part of an official government response to this pandemic is insane. Doubly so at a time where the rest of that response is in complete shambles.
It’s fitting that while Trump’s imaginary test-guidance website, which was to be built by 1,700 Google gnomes, isn’t even ready to tell people to go fuck themselves yet before he tries to buy people off with “meh, just pray for better times”.
This really is America. Where everyone is supposed to just spitball a response to a fucking pandemic lest they dare critique a shambolic governmental response. THIS IS WHY WE HAVE GOVERNMENT. AND MEDICAL EXPERTS. AND THE CDC.

How on earth is it going to take DAYS for Trump to get the result of his corona test when China is able to process a test in 4 hours?
After his out-of-breath performance at the press conference, of course the natural jump from “it’s going to take days” is “he already has it”. This is what a vacuum of information breeds: assumptions, fear, conspiracies.
Still seeing activity on this thread, so the latest is the WH says Trump does not have it.

To celebrate the impending 10th anniversary of @GamesDoneQuick , I've taken the liberty of compiling a list of 100 of the best runs showcased throughout its history. I'll be adding one run to this thread every day until the 1st of January, which marks ten years to the day.
Some caveats:
* No, these aren't literally the best 100 runs. How do you even measure that? But they're all runs I think leave their impact on the event's history.
* Obviously I haven't picked any of my own runs - but there are some I commentated on, and felt privileged to do so.
* I've got at least one run in here from all 20 live events to date - CGDQ, all 9 editions of AGDQ and SGDQ, and last year's GDQx. No JRDQ or HRDQ, sorry!

Also I won't be adding anything from the upcoming GDQx, which is this weekend, but you obviously should watch that anyway!

Netanyahu is unable to broker an agreement to get the required seats. So he tabled legislation to dissolve Parliament and arrange new elections.
No big deal. The parallel: there were rumblings about parliament opting to ask another party to try to build a majority government. Netanyahu panicked and quickly arranged an election in what seems like the Israeli version of proroguing parliament. A rhyme with Canadian history.
