How working for Disney @WaltDisneyWorld went from a dream to a nightmare...

I open threatd.
Us mexicans we came to work for @WaltDisneyWorld to represent Mexico as part of a Cultural Representative Program @DisneyInterns at Epcot; due to the #coronavirus crisis @DisneyParks have decided to close for two weeks.
@WaltDisneyWorld announced through their official page that they will continue paying to their cast members during that closure period, however the cast members of food & beverage at the Mexican Pavilion will NOT get paid for those weeks, WHY?
The company that runs the food & beverage location at Epcot is an operating participant, meaning the cast members work for a third party company named @sanangelinnusa and they do NOT have our back.
@sanangelinnusa leave us totally unprotected during this closing period. @WaltDisneyWorld is paying at least the minimum hours to their cast members, and we are not getting paid AT ALL. They leave us in this situation of vulnerability and with a debt on Disney Housing.
YES, we work for @WaltDisneyWorld and we still have to paid them housing, the appartment complex that we all Cast Members live at. At this point we are not being treated like Cast Members.
We applied to the program through Disney directly. They bring us all here and when something like this blows up they let us unprotected for a situation that is out of our hands. They stop treating us as Cast Members and just see us as an operating participant @WaltDisneyWorld
We strongly ask #DisneyBeFair and have our back. WE came here under the ilusion of make magic and it feels like you just care about the money and not the people who works so hard to make that magic happen @WaltDisneyWorld @sanangelinnusa
We are Cast Members are completly heart broken about this situation, we feel unprotected and vulnerable, we don't have money, we came here to make magic, please #DisneyBeFair and just help us during this hard time.
Update: we went to Disney housing to talk to them and they didn’t know about our problem, however this was their answer: @DisneyInterns @WaltDisneyWorld are not willing to step for us, or at least talk to “our leaders”
Update: this morning some CRPs went and talk with our leaders, they agreed to absorb housing costs during this two weeks that they won’t be paying us. At least we won’t have a housing debt. Thank you all for your support. We send you all our love from the Mexico pavilion 🇲🇽
