Gary the Garbage Cat has always been quite skittish but he’s evidently decided I can be trusted. He comes to my yard, shouts at me, and lets me scritch him in exchange for dinner.
I am in my bedroom on the other side of the house and I can hear him yowling. It’s breaking my heart not to let him in but I have three cats of my own who would beat him up.
