Whether real or perceived, Trump will exploit Biden’s record & run to the left of Biden on all these & more.

If Biden is the nominee, it will be SURREAL: Biden will try to out-lie Trump, & Trump will run to the left against Biden’s record! 2/3

First, it’s not a $2 trillion spending bill. It’s only about $1.6 trillion. The $2T number includes a multiplier-effect.

That’s like if you get $100 & spend it on groceries, part of that $100 goes to the salary of the employee at the store, then they spend it, etc. 2/31
There’re good reasons to believe the multiplier effect will be much less than estimated, especially without requirements for businesses receiving their handouts to keep their employees on payroll rather than firing their employees & hoarding their billions. 3/31

By all economic indicators we are in for a catastrophic economic collapse unlike anything most of us have seen in our lifetimes – more akin to the Great Depression than the 2008 recession.

After 50 years of stagnant wages through ever-increasing cost-of-living resulting in ever-dwindling savings & high crushing personal debt, most are already on the edge of vulnerability.

Inequality today is back to Pre-Great Depression levels. 2/9
Most Americans have less than $1,000 in savings, with about 40% unable to afford an unexpected $400 expense. Most are just one paycheck away from financial ruin. Millions are homeless or food insecure.

And all of that is *before* this impending collapse. 3/9
