Said that he was on a call with other governors earlier in the day, discussing the need for protective equipment as well as the components involved in testing kits.

Jennie Gordon -- who has rural hc experience -- said that it's important to distance one's self, wash hands, and do whatever it takes to not overwhelm the healthcare sector.

"I think it's important we all be thoughtful about taking what we need, and only what we need," Gov. Gordon said. Also calling on the state to come together as a community. "That's the spirit I think will carry us through," he said.
Talking about the challenges facing workers, remembering the death of his first wife, and caring for his children after the fact. Says he knows these are tough times.
"I know how hard it is to work as a single dad, how hard it is to find childcare."

Notes some jobs can't telecommute, like police or hc workers. "If you seem them working, be sure to thank them. Thank them for their courage, and for showing up."

Notes his five task forces to address the issues the state is facing, as well as the First Lady's task force to help address hunger in the state.
