Lord Krishna had many lessons that can be easily applied to our daily lives. Read some of the life changing lessons that we can all learn from Krishna.
Never give up on what you love:
Lord Krishna had a deep love for the flute, and he never stopped playing it just because of his commitments. Even during times of war it was by his side.

Hobbies and passions can breathe new life into us.
Being of service to our fellow men:
There are times when he saved people of Vrindavan from being poisoned. They might have not been close to him, he was still drawn to being of service to them.

No matter what being of service to mankind is considered as being of service to God.
Selfless, unconditional love is the key:
Not only did he bless those who offended him but he also practiced unconditional love while offering ‘mukti’(enlightenment) to his devotees. His life was all about divine love.

This is something that we should practice in our own lives.
Take One Day at a Time:
He was conscious of the future but chose to live in the moment without worrying. Even if he knew what was going to happen, he still took one day at a time.

It’s easy to get bogged down by challenging circumstances but staying mindful makes things easier.
Change people with spiritual knowledge:
At one point, God Indra was offended by those worshipping Krishna and sought to destroy them. But Lord saved them. Seeing his folly, Indra begged forgiveness and Lord gave it.

Everyone makes mistakes, sometimes terrible ones, Forgive them.
Stay humble no matter what:
Even if he was the Lord of all creation, he was still humble and showed respect to his elders, parents, teachers. Because of this, people were willing to help him where ever he went.

Show respect to everyone, and they'll show respect to you.
Krishna always smiled:
Right from his birth he faced no of adversities. Yet he dealt with each of them with a smile. In other words, he was living a life of perpetual bliss. It’s probably the simplest lesson of all.

Happiness comes from within-ur circumstances don’t define you.
Generosity was his middle name:
When Sudama offered him rice (that he himself could not afford), Krishna accepted the gift with joy. In return, he turned Sudama’s house into gold with streams of precious stones etc.

Give freely, and fortune will smile upon you.
Performed his duties diligently:
He was the Lord of the Universe but he never shirked from his duties. To please his devotees, he assumed various forms to attend to all of them at the same time if need be.

Give freely. Fulfill your obligations. And people will never forget you.
Valued his friendships:
The way he treated Sudama shows how much he valued friendships. Apart from this, he also did not differentiate between rich or poor friends.

Lifelong friendships are built upon respect & love. Treat others this way and you'll always be surrounded by love.
Did his duty towards his parents:
As a child, his parents were captured by King Kansa. When he grew up, he defeated the king and released his parents. No matter what, he performed his duty towards them.

Parents sacrifice a lot for us. It's our duty to take care of them always.
Remained calm and composed:
Regardless of being in a number of unpleasant situations throughout his Life, Lord Krishna always stayed calm and composed. There was never a time he panicked either.

We can truly learn this from him as we go through ups and downs in life.
An astute strategist:
When Kauravas fought Pandavas, he knew that the latter wouldn’t stand a chance against the mighty army. He also knew that Kauravas wouldn’t have a problem breaking the rules. So he did bend the rules but not break them when faced with an ‘unfair’ situation.
Upheld dharma:
Throughout the ‘Dharma Yuddh’ he stayed by the side of the Pandavas & kept them safe until the end of the war. He covered Draupadi with a saree when she was stripped off her clothes infront of everyone.
He upheld Dharma when need for it arose throughout his life.
Do the right thing, even if it’s challenging! It's your duty. This is the lesson and meaning of Dharma.
