The House bill would increase payments to $1500 per American, but make people that make over $75k to pay much of it back next year. That is dumb. Richer people (say, over $200k?) Fine. But $75k is too low.

In short, Progressives are writing this bill. This is not a bill that focuses on immediate assitance. It does some of that, but there are a lot of long term issues here, and this is not the time to debate that.
