Regarding this pandemic, everyone is worried about their future, especially from a financial point of view. Here is what I am telling/sharing with everyone I know.
(a) Assume the worst, you're laid off, 50% of more decline in fixed assets, and very limited liquid assets - what is your plan?
(b) Those who are not thinking ahead will be hurting the most.
(c) If things don't pan out, you will have the blueprints and know EXACTLY what to do, where to cut your losses, what financial burdens to trim and how to save yourself so that you come out strong.
(d) If things do go back to normal, then you got nothing to worry about.
(e) Rest assured, this pandemic is going to affect us all, indirectly or directly. It will wreak havoc on various economies financially, and it will be silly to think the ripples of such havoc will not reach the shores of your house/life.
I hope I am 100% wrong, but remember thee 5Ps. Prior planning prevents poor performance. And here, the performance is survivability.
