Article 1 is not cover for Misprision of treason.
18 U.S. Code § 2382. Misprision of treason (law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18…)

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States and having knowledge of the commission of
2. any treason against them, conceals and does not, as soon as may be, disclose and make known the same to the President or to some judge of the United States, or to the governor or to some judge or justice of a particular State, is guilty of misprision of treason and shall be
3. fined under this title or imprisoned not more than seven years, or both."
In JFK’s address, he reminds the journalists that theirs is the only business with specific protections in the Constitution, Article 1.
The intent of the founders was that our nation’s
4. press responsibly keep the public informed of the actions of our government.
JFK softly chastises the press of his time for revealing too much. But JFK's main point is that every citizen, including journalists, has an obligation to act for the sake of the common good of our
5. republic, and especially to responsibly inform the public.
JFK’s address here, is to remind our present day journalists that their protections under Article 1 of the Constitution are established for the common good of our citizenry and republic.
Their positions as journalists
6. will not stand as protection and cover for concealing or failing to "disclose and make known" “to the President or to some judge of the United States” “ knowledge of any treason against
7. them (United States). Journalists are citizens first.

The Constitution is not license to undermine our republic.
