Former Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn has died at the age of 72. Senator Coburn had been fighting cancer and was well-known for his annual reports on waste, fraud and abuse in the federal budget known as the "Wastebook".

Tom Coburn made public in Nov. 2014 he had been diagnosed w/ a recurrence of prostate cancer. He had prostate cancer surgery in 2011 and has survived colon cancer and melanoma.
He lost his oncologist due to ObamaCare, but said he'll have "great care," and "a great prognosis.”
