#SchoolClosure #RemoteLearning 🧵#ThreadOnZoom Several teachers have already initiated @zoom_us mtgs w/their students. 🎞 I recently learned how several districts are banning two way synchronous platforms w/students such as Zoom. After much reflection, I can understand why. 3/12

🧵#ThreadOnZoom I can also understand why teachers & students are so excited to use @zoom_us & finally be able to connect once again even if it's virtually in light of #SchoolClosures #SocialDistancing & transition to #RemoteLearning Intentions are all good & positive ones. 4/12

🎦 Another great tip for us as educators regarding the use of @zoom_us is holding live office hours or a virtual Open House for students and/or parents & caregivers in which they can drop in via phone in versus video. 📲 13
