Does everybody know about Project Gutenberg?

It's over 60,000 free ebooks, legally hosted in multiple formats (including just text you can read in a browser if you don't want to mess with an app), an online archive of public domain sources.

It's obviously mostly older stuff, and ~*The Western Canon*~ is very strongly represented, but it's a good way to revive a love of Poe or Dumas (I say, because this is what I've used it for), and there's some more weird/obscure stuff, too.
Have you ever heard of the classic comic strip "Little Nemo in Slumberland"? It got an anime adaptation in 1989 that resulted in a pretty stellar NES tie-in game, which came out in the US before the movie did.

It's also in the public domain.

Yesterday I said a crisis like the pandemic can function as a revolution simulator.

Think about David Geffen hiding on his yacht. If you could utterly disrupt the vertically-integrated entertainment industry, like 100% break up the systems that make it work?

He's still fine.
He can hide on his yacht living on hoarded wealth until he figures out how to leverage that wealth to control a big piece of whatever comes next. Sure, his holdings are reduced but you know he's not just holding his own entertainment company stock.
Working-for-a-living actors and musicians? They're screwed, in direct proportion to the extent that they're working for a living. Same thing with all the technical crew.

It looks as though there may have been (very slightly) fewer reported deaths from covid-19 in the US yesterday than the day before? Which doesn't mean we've peaked, but does show that the numbers climbing upward is not an inexorable fact.

Worth keeping in mind that the deaths are a time-delayed effect of earlier events so any ups and downs in the rate of change is not about what we're doing now or yesterday, but stuff going back as far as two weeks.
And there were a number of things that happened between about March 15th and yesterday that make me think the death toll is going to accelerate again.

Worst response I received today was the Reply Guy telling me the stated purpose of US copyright laws when I was talking about the purpose they serve today.

Do I look like an 18th century gentleman with eligible daughters?

No?

Then I don't care about Ben Franklin's intentions.
Throw out copyright as a concept and the big money fight goes from who controls the content to who controls the platforms.

Can't really see that being the downfall of something like the House of Mouse, personally. Money still wins, and they still have the infrastructure.
The concept of intellectual property has been abused to absurd degrees by giant corporations but it's also the only thing that somewhat halfway forces them to deal with individual creators equitably, and that allows us to make a living outside them.

1- Here in Europe we are in lock-down.
France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland...etc

2- Some countries and people deal with it differently.

3- In Spain ppl are panic buying. Though everyday supermarkets are empty
4- Next day at 9am its all back up and restocked @asda etc are doing a wonderful job.

5- Spanish taxis drivers have associated and are volunteering to drive around freely paramedics, doctors, nurses, etc.

6-In Slovakia, people with hotels/pensions/ etc are giving free
7-Accommodation to all first responders, including police, fire brigade, etc.

8- @politico has this wonderful tracker if you want to check how #coronavirus is developing in the Old Continent.

Total revenue was $167,780 for the year. Total unique visitors across 4 main websites (Forte Labs website, Praxis blog, Teachable online school, and BASB landing page) was 82,678, so a little over $2 per visitor
2/ These 82k visitors spent 6,572 hours and generated 253k pagviews. 88% of revenue was from online courses on @teachable, about $147k. 578 customers purchased 674 courses, so about $254/customer on average. Only $5, 717 in refunds, about 3.8%
3/ Referral sources for online courses were diverse, but Praxis blog, guest posts on other blogs, podcast interviews, Twitter, and previous courses made up the majority, almost 75%
