From inner-cities to tiny villages, up and down the country there are thousands of local heroes doing amazing things, caring for others and getting stuck-in.

We want to celebrate everyone who is working together to get through this.

So here goes... 👇

Thank you to everyone who works for our Co-op.
From our colleagues in our food stores, to our lorry drivers and everyone in our depots and warehouses, to our support and call centres.
And to our suppliers and British farmers who keep the food coming.

It’s been full-on, but you’ve pulled together and we’re so grateful.
And to our Funeralcare colleagues helping people through the very toughest of times.
We appreciate it.

But it’s not just our colleagues.
There are millions of people rolling up their sleeves to help others, who also deserve a massive thank you.
The incredible NHS and all those who have volunteered - there are no words.

The nation’s delivery drivers working on overdrive - keep going.
The local businesses forced to close, but still finding ways to help - hang in there.
The families who’ve stayed at home to protect loved ones.
The neighbours making sure everyone on their street is ok.

The personal trainers showing us how to do the perfect plank in our living rooms.
The parents and carers teaching their kids at home. (It’s hard, isn’t it?)
The little ones making grandparents smile on shaky video calls. It’s not a cuddle but it’s still fun.

And of course, thanks to our members and customers.
Your support and patience means everything to us.
We don’t know when we’ll all get back to normal, but what we do know is that with everyone pulling together we’ll get through this.
