Trump is now verbally attacking and berating @Yamiche, talking over her and telling her to “be nice. Don’t be threatening. Be nice.” He never answers her question, then cuts her off, yelling, “Enough!”

He's such an asshole.
Unflappable badass @Yamiche persisted, ignoring Trump's tirade: “I was quoting you directly from your interview with Sean Hannity.”

Trump's bouncers then took the mic away from her.
YESSSSSSS!!!!!

Trump called on a reporter [@JDiamond1 I think?] and he gave the mic to Yamiche so she could finish her question.

Trump is now pretending he never yelled at Yamiche, as abusers always do.

By the time he proclaimed himself a wartime president and coronavirus the enemy, the US was on track to see more of its people die than in the wars of Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq combined.

Today is going to be procedural stuff. The Senate will have to approve the (completely BS) rules proposed by McConnell. Dems will offer amendments, of course, but since a simple majority rules I don't have a lot of hope any of the amendments will pass. #Trump #ImpeachmentTrial
For those of you just tuning in, McConnell is proposing that this trial have:

Zero witnesses
Zero admitted evidence
Ridiculously little time set aside for opening arguments and questions.
As little sunlight as possible.
