#FilmYourHospital Would any of you asshats like to come stand by our side and watch us intubate people who are still awake and talking? Would any of you filming our hospital have the guts to enter our COVID unit without proper protection? Let me explain why hospital census is low
Our elective surgeries like TKA, TSA, or hip replacements have all stopped. We have no ski accidents coming in. We have 1/12th of the car accidents coming in. Traumas are at an all time low and the people that ARE here are extraordinarily sick. So yeah, it might look a bit empty.
Our ED is empty aside from the people coming in who are having trouble breathing. People are afraid of the hospital right now and rightfully so. Pretty much all our staff have been exposed to the virus. Our OR’s are virtually empty. We are preparing for the onslaught of COVID.
I hope all of you insinuating that MD’s, nurses, and our support are LYING understand how absolutely BRAINLESS you look right now. Here in Colorado we are begging people to stay home unless they are at risk of death because the risk of contracting COVID from us is so high.
So, yes, the parking lots are empty. We aren’t allowing visitors unless people are actively dying. Most of those missing cars belonged to wives, sisters, and mothers who are now FaceTiming nurses to say goodbye to loved ones. #FilmYourHospital
If any of you think you are slick because you filmed an empty parking lot, I would like you to know that our staff will still be here waiting to shove tubes down your throat and breathe for you when you catch this and feel the fluid build up in your lungs. Go the fuck home.
@brandonBowser10 you’re a fucking idiot and just FYI, visiting local hospitals to “expose” them probably exposed YOU to the virus. Hope you remember that when you get symptomatic. This is 100% your fault.
