This week I went on an adventure like no other. I’ve been running steps to the elevation of Everest Basecamp, what a challenge it has been! I wanted to try and encourage others to keep active during these uncertain times, whilst spreading a positive message! #VirtualEBC #THREAD
When @rorysouthworth_ put out a call at the start of the week to get adventures and those crazy enough to take part in this challenge, I knew I couldn’t hold myself back. This was my opportunity to grab the camera and create a film all about this expedition! #VirtualEBC #THREAD 
It is incredible to be a part of such an amazing team for this challenge. We have connected from all across the UK and some a little further. Everyone has been trying to spread their own positive messages with others. #VirtualEBC #THREAD
Day 1 - I ran 640m in elevation, the highest of all the 5 days planned. The first day really felt like one of the biggest achievements. This was the day I had to make running my steps at home part of my daily routine, especially for the week ahead! #VitualEBC #THREAD
I am positive on camera but that doesn’t mean I’m not finding this situation difficult. I’ve not left the house because my asthma and lungs, but this challenge has allowed to focus on something at night, keep active and hopefully inspire others along the way! #VirtualEBC #THREAD
Day 2 complete 💪🏽 The motto to get me through was “Stop caring start doing!” Hopefully I can encourage others to stop being nervous about doing the things you love, I’ve always wanted to create vlogs and here I am giving it a go. #VirtualEBC #THREAD
Day 3 - 480 metres, 300 flights, 2700 steps! The third day is always the hardest of any five day expedition, it’s the day your almost half way through but not quite there yet! #VirtualEBC #THREAD
You see steps, I see my way to Everest Basecamp! These steps have taken a stomping this week, however, it’s been nothing but an incredible experience! #VirtualEBC #THREAD

Today I am full of smiles along with the rest of the team. This is the day we head on up together to reach our Virtual Everest Basecamp. So far I have completed 1338 flights up and down my stairs only another 288 before the celebrations begin! #VirtualEBC #THREAD
After 5 tough days running stairs, ladders, chairs you name it. We made it as a team. This week has been one of the best times I have ever spent indoors. I ran to the height of Everest Basecamp, but most importantly I made memories with friends along the way! #virtualEBC #THREAD
