I've said it before. But people need to differentiate between the crank left & the left. The crank left and Momentum (left) put up opposing candidates in the NEC by election.

Those sensible parts of the left need to make up for their past errors. They now have a job to do. What's left of Momentum (the sane left) need to take the lead in purging the crank left bigots, conspiracists and antisemites from the party. /2
It is their responsibility more than anyone's. They played with fire knowing the sort of bigots who existed in their spaces. They used those bigots for political ruthlessness & organisation. They brought the extreme left racists and conspiracists into the mainstream. /3
They left now need to clean up their own mess if they ever want to regain any kind of moral high ground or respect in parts of the Labour Party and especially in the wider population. /Ends
