1-I salute this student and may his tribe grow..

It is acceptable to fail in exam, but it is not acceptable to call Mughals great.

A student from Lucknow University, Kunwar Ritesh Singh had given such a unique answer to a question in an exam that set social media abuzz.
2-In the exam, the question on 'the contribution of the Mughals in Indian Administration ' was asked.
3-In response to that question, the student wrote, "Sir I humbly ask you to forgive me.

According to my knowledge in History, the Mughals were looters ( dacoits, robbers) and they came to India with the aim of looting. Dacoits do not contribute to the progress of a nation.
4-How can people who robbed the treasure of our country and sent it back to their home land ever contribute to the development of our country? '
5-The student also wrote that not only Mughals perpetrate katl-e-aam (mass killing), they also raped the mothers and daughters of our country.

In our country thousands and lakhs of widows jumped into the funeral pyres of their husbands due to the fear of the Mughals.
6-According to me, this was the contribution of the Mughals to our nation.

The student also wrote that if the Mughals were such good administrators then why couldn't they develop their own country and why did they come to rob our country.
7-In the end the student kunwar Ritesh Singh wrote that ' Sir, I grew up reading the stories of Maharana Pratap and the battle of Haldighati.

I cannot tarnish the history of my ancestors, I would prefer to fail the exam rather than glorify the thieving Mughals.
