Post the virality of this tweet I think I owe you all an update on developments. I firstly apologies for saying that our defunct hospital is in Pune. It’s actually 3.3kms away from the border of #Punecity and falls under the @pcmcindiagovin Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.

1/n This is where my first problems began as I did get calls from #Pune authorities who on hearing the location washed their hands away by saying it’s not part of their #jurisdiction!Does death also have any jurisdiction?
Never got any calls from the good people at PCMC.

2/n I did get connected to a bunch of trusts/organizations/individuals who offered help in running this if we are able to get it funded/started by ourselves. I do thank all of them for reaching out with their manpower and expertise. 
A lot of you including me tagged a host

3/n of #IAS officers, #industrialists, #corporates, and #politicians across #Maharashtra. As of now, no one has come forward & offered any assistance whatsoever. 
I did get calls from some brokers who asked me how I want to structure the #business model for this #COVID center!

4/n What were my expectations of #revenue/bed? Unfortunately for my family and me; we don't like to search for fortune in others' misfortune. We just felt that our building is uselessly lying vacant and people are dying coz of lack of beds hence we just offered to help #probono!

5/n We expect #norent, #norevenue absolutely nothing from this. We don't have the capability of reviving this hospital(a beast of 200 beds) ourselves; hence we opened it up to the authorities/corporates/trusts who could use it for the betterment of our society and its people.

6/n I wish I had the cash to go all out and do it myself but I don’t. We haven’t lost anyone close to us but a look at any medical facility in @PMCPune will tell you the tale of where #COVID19 stands at. I can’t understand why doing any good in this country is so tough?

7/n I personally feel that in our polarised love for political party A vs B vs C we have forgotten #humanity entirely. This isn’t the time for all that. It’s a time to come together as #OneNation #India & stand for our countrymen; stand for our overworked #healthcare workers.

8/n Unlike people from my profession I can’t sit in #highcastles and wait for someone else to do the dirty work. I’m determined to beat this pandemic alive & if you really want to help then come along; for the rest enjoy the tweets & be a #digitalpatriot all your life.
