1/13 On 27 February #Russia continued air strikes, rocket attacks, artillery shelling and sabotage and diversionary activities against civilian and military targets. The Russians failed to capture #Kyiv or #Kharkiv. Russian losses are mounting and morale to fight is weakening.

2/13 In #Ochtyrka the Russians attacked a bus with civilians, in #Kharkiv they blew up a gas pipeline and in Vasylkovo a fuel base. The world's largest aircraft, the An-225 Mriya, was damaged, and in Vladimir (in the west of the country) military warehouses were attacked.

3/13 In #Kyiv Russian troops encountered determined resistance from Ukrainian forces. Despite attempts to encircle the city, the Russians failed to gain the advantage. The greatest success of the Ukrainian troops was regaining control over #Kharkiv.

4/13 The Russians conduct an offensive in a southern direction, where #Berdyansk was captured. Fighting continues for #Mariupol, #Mykolaiv and #Odessa . #Khersonsk and the strategic bridge at Antonivka are blocked, where electricity and gas supplies have also been disrupted.

5/13 According to Ukrainian data, Russian losses amount to, among others, over 4,300 soldiers, 27 aircraft, 26 helicopters, 146 tanks, over 700 combat vehicles, over 50 artillery units, several anti-aircraft, air defense systems and drones. 💪

6/13 @OSCE Chairman FM @RauZbigniew together with over 40 member states called Russia for an immediate ceasefire to let humanitarian organizations deliver assistance. ❤️‍🩹

7/13 President #Putin decided to put the strategic missile (nuclear) forces on “special combat readiness”. In this way, #Russia is trying to exert psychological pressure on the Western countries, dividing them and making them stop supporting #Ukraine.

8/13 Attacks (including the use of Iskander missiles) and Russian air raids continued from the territory of #Belarus. After a telephone call with Lukashenka, President #Zelensky agreed for talks with Russia, which will take place on February 28 on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

9/13 The 🇪🇺 has imposed further sanctions on Belarus and Russia, closing the airspace to Russian planes and banning broadcasting to Russian propaganda media (including RT, Sputnik). The 🇪🇺has also announced that it will finance arms deliveries to 🇺🇦.

10/13 Demonstrations of support 🪧🤞 🪧 for Ukraine, condemning Russian aggression were held in many European cities. One of the largest (around 100,000) took place in #Berlin. Anti-war protests also took place in #Belarus and #Russia, where over 2,000 people were detained.

11/13 In addition to sanctions and military support, the West has increased financial and humanitarian aid to 🇺🇦. The leading role in its distribution goes to 🇵🇱, which has received more than 200,000 refugees from 🇺🇦 since 24 Feb.

12/13 🇺🇦 announced the creation of an International Territorial Defence Legion for foreign volunteers who would like to support Ukraine's resistance by fighting on the frontline. Veterans of #US and #British special forces, among others, have already announced their readiness. 💪
