$GCD is a stabelcoin that is algorithmically soft-pegged to the US dollar via smart contracts. It uses tokens from another decentralized cryptocurrency as collateral to issue new GCDs. $ETH, $BTC, $PAXG and other liquid currencies can be used as collateral

11/⚜️ Stablecoin:
The design principles are similar to $DAI, $GHO, $MIM, $sUSD, $LUSD, $USDP and other #crypto-collateralized stablecoins

12/⚜️ Rollup:
#GTONNetwork is an Ethereum #Optimistic Rollup protocol that uses the $GCD stablecoin as its gas currency

13/⚜️ Rollup:
#GTONNet is an #EVM-compatible network that supports the execution of smart contracts written for Ethereum mainnet and other EVM-based networks. All other tools for users and developers are also integrated into GTONNet, such as #MetaMask wallet, #HardHat and bridges

14/⚜️ Rollup:
Users get the same experience with #GTONNet as they have with #Arbitrum, #Optimism, #Metis and #Boba, the major difference being that they do not need to use volatile assets for transactions, but can use the $GCD #stablecoin instead

#GTONStaking is a tool for protocol contributors that allows them to capture the value from the ecosystem of products built on GCD and #GTONNet
(from tx fees)

16/⚜️ Although #GTONNet is a #L2 on top of #Eth mainnet, the rollup tech can be scaled recursively to L3/4 and other layers to boost the #web3 network capacity
