The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (#OIC) welcomed the #signing by the #Palestinian factions of the #Algeria #Declaration of National Reconciliation, considering that this is an important
and positive step on the road to ending the division and restoring the national unity of the Palestinian people.
The #OIC also expressed its appreciation to the Republic of #Algeria for sponsoring and hosting this dialogue, stressing its support for all efforts that contribute to achieving #Palestinian national unity within the framework of the #Palestine Liberation Organization (#PLO),
the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.

…and systematic practices against Indian Muslims, particularly in light of a set of decisions to prohibit the use of hijab in educational institutions in some #Indian states, including demolition of Muslims' properties and growing violence against them.

During his official visit to the United States of America, the #OIC Secretary-General, H. E. Mr. #Hissein_Brahim_Taha, met today, May 25, 2022 at the headquarters of the State Department in #Washington, DC, with the US Secretary of State, H. E. Mr. Anthony Blinken.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the OIC & the USA & ways to enhance and develop them. They also discussed the outcome of the inaugural strategic dialogue between the OIC & the United States, which was held on May 23-24, 2022 in #Washington. ImageImage
