#Sudan 🇸🇩: a deal has been reached in order to end the #SudanCoup which has been going on for over a year now.

Both the #FFC and the military have agreed to a 24-month transition, under the leadership of a civilian PM, with elections at the end.

But there's a but 👇

#Sudan 🇸🇩: just as with the previous transition deal there is very little that holds either #Burhan or #Hemedti to honor their promises, meaning the country is and remains very vulnerable to another #SudanCoup at any moment.

There is also no mention of any reform of the military

#Sudan 🇸🇩: the Resistance committees, which were the backbone of the December Revolution have already voiced their opposition to the deal since it doesn't include any framework to bring justice to the 110+ protesters who were killed since the #SudanCoup.

For the past weeks Monday has usually been a day of missile attacks on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

#Iran BREAKING: Evin Prison in #Tehran, the country's most notorious prison which is filled with countless political detainees is on fire tonight.

#Iran: gunshots can be heard as smoke rises and the alarm has been raised at the Evin prison in #Tehran.

Something is going on...

#Iran: footage coming from the Evin prison in #Tehran are insane. People can be heard chanting "death to tye dictator" under the sound of gunfire.

Police are seen moving around the perimeter on their motorcycles.

BREAKING: #Armenia 🇦🇲 and #Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 have agreed to sign a formal peace deal which includes an official delimitation of the border by the end of the year.

This deal (if successfully followed through) would be a major diplomatic victory for the European Union.

Just last week intens negotiations between 🇦🇲🇦🇿 were taking place under 🇫🇷🇪🇺 supervision. The Kremlin was completely left out of the process

News of a possible deal does not mean that peace in the #Caucasus is within reach. The #Kremlin could try to spoil an agreement, #Aliyev is still an expansionist authoritarian, and the future status of #NagornoKarabakh will probably remain undetermined.

#Ukraine 🇺🇦: Russian missiles and kamikaze drones are terrorizing the capital #Kyiv this morning. Several civilization sites have already been hit.
