#cdnpoli 2022 The conservative opposition focus on attacking the gov't in office & obstructionism in HoC renders them, political misfits. Their antagonism neutered their ability to work collaboratively & produce results that benefit those whose interests they are elected to serve
#cdnpolitics 2022 Clearly #TeamTrudeau has had our backs during this pandemic. They have been dedicated to keeping Canadians safe and financially viable. Though I did not vote Liberal I am impressed with the diligence and competence of our minority gov't.
#cdnpoli 2022 The CPC agenda is to expand their "big tent" base & they're aiming to swing Canadians in the political center to the right. But PP's flailing attempts to convince us that he's one of us and what he has to say is relevant are a FAIL! He clearly isn't PM material.
#cdnpolitics 2022 Conservatives are #Finkelsteinmethod adherents- find something that moves people from rational to emotional mode and attack your opponent & their supporters daily. And no one does baseless political attacks better than the CPC & conservative-biased PostMedia do.
Postmedia conservative-biased outlets assume voters lack the IQ required to do their own research. They are dead wrong. Canadian taxpayers are against media bias & expect real journalism, not tabloid trash talk. Click and scan the PostMedia outlets here ⬇️mediabiasfactcheck.com/?s=PostMedia
#cdnhealthcare Canada has a collaborative federal/provincial political structure. The demands by provinces for more federal #healthcare $ without strings attached while running surpluses demonstrate their lack of collaborative skills & lack of focus on what's best for Canadians.
Our Prime Minister is neither small-minded nor lacking in grace. He isn't perfect but #IStandWithTrudeau because he stays on the high road, admits his mistakes, apologizes & moves forward to address what's most important ie. the needs of Canadians in this time of #COVID19
#cdnpoli CPC ideology is a regressive throwback to the 1950's. CPC members are a motley crew who deny #climatechange but support debunked #trickledowneconomics. The next election will produce a Liberal gov't again because @JustinTrudeau & his gov't are focused on Canadian needs.
#cdnpoli #NeverForget that during a pandemic when Canadians expected all political parties to work together, the self-serving, power-obsessed CPC MP's remained partisan obstructionists in the HoC who abandoned their overarching parliamentary duty to act only to benefit Canadians.
@cdnpoli I hoped some NDP policies would make headway while the minority Liberal gov't is in power and I'm glad Singh signed the C&S agreement but IMO the leader of the NDP lacks the respect and skills of a statesman as evidenced by his latest tweets.

It's important to know every social program Canadians enjoy today was the result of third-party collaborative support for Liberal minority gov't legislation. It's equally important to know conservatives voted against them all and are still doing so. #NeverVoteConservative
#cdnpolitics 📢Citizens are far more than taxpayers and Canadian values are far more important than the economy which doesn't exist without working people. Conservative bean counters need to know we stand against their preoccupation with cancelling true Canadians' cultural values
#cdnpoli CPC behaviour #gaslighting, #manufacturedoutrage & blaming Trudeau for things beyond his control. And like the boy who continually cried wolf their attempts to become relevant by #ragefarming will fail them, as regressive CPC ideology does not align with Canadian values
#cdnpolitics #CPCfearmongering & #CPCmanufacturedoutrage are indications of how little they care about Canadians and our health both mental and physical. They are acting irresponsibly and clearly don't have what it takes to govern our diverse multicultural democratic country.
Contrary to the CPC, the Liberal decision to invest in Canadians so we could stimulate the economy during this pandemic was the right decision. Standard & Poor's credit rating is AAA, Moody's is Aaa, Fitch's at AA+ and DBRS's credit rating for Canada is AAA with a stable outlook.
Tweet responsibly knowing #hatred results from "us versus them" rhetoric. No one learns anything new or changes their political POV through receiving #insults and being told they are wrong unless they also receive a clear & kind explanation of where their thinking went off course

The number of Canadians in hospital with COVID has more than tripled since last year theglobeandmail.com/canada/article…
I'm an introvert who doesn't like conflict so I have been quietly noticing the discrepancies and deficiencies in PHO COVID reporting.
Do you believe public health officers have done enough to provide us with the facts re: COVID? I don't.

🧵What a day! Today I took off my eyeglasses when I was singing in the choir and put them in the pocket of my vest. I didn't need them as I have memorized the pitch and note pattern as well as the lyrics. Later I moved them to my coat pocket. Prior to driving home, 1 cont
I put my glasses on. While driving I noticed I wasn't seeing well in my right eye and thought that was weird because my left eye vision is usually worse. I parked and went up the stairs noticing a depth perception issue when I tripped and fell. I picked myself up and continued 2
After I opened the door and hung up my coat I went for the eyeglass cleaner and that's when I noticed the right lens was gone. So U checked my coat and vest pocket and came up with nothing. Despite the dusk, I decided to return to where we practiced and tried to find the lens 3

Have you considered that members of the so-called #FreedomConvoy were and are not only #domesticterrorists who attempted to overthrow our duly elected govt, but that bonding together gave them the illusion of power & success as they are in essence members of a #rightwingcult?
Definition of pied piper. 1 : one that offers strong but delusive enticement; 2 : a leader who makes irresponsible promises; 3 : a charismatic person who attracts followers by using 1 & 2.
#JustaPiedPiper is recruiting new members to his #rightwingcult from the #FreedomConvoy
Cult groups are not limited to religious groups. All have leaders whose authority is respected and, in many cases, unquestioned. What brings them together is often perverse beliefs and in the case of the #honkers, the perversity is evidenced in their interpretation of freedom.

🧵1. There is no #coalition as the NDP MPs are not in the Liberal cabinet., instead there is a supply and confidence agreement to provide stability and an environment to get important work done #supplyandconfidenceagreement
2. During a time when transitions from a pandemic financing to normalcy must take place Canadians will benefit from what the supply and confidence agreement provides. Federal #COVID19supports expired on May 7th. cbc.ca/news/politics/…
3. Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland says Canada's surging job growth and record-low unemployment rate is evidence that ongoing pandemic support will not be needed. Those applying for workers' benefits have 60 days to submit their claims, while businesses have 180 days.

#EconomicProvincialRankings - How Canada Performs. British Columbia tops the provinces with an excellent overall A performance that ranks second only to Ireland. #bcfinance #bcpoli #bceconomy conferenceboard.ca/hcp/provincial…
Ontario has worked its way up into second place among the provinces with strong growth over the past three years—the province ranks 6th among the 26 jurisdictions and gets a C grade.
Resource-rich Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Newfoundland and Labrador have tumbled down the rankings as a result of recent sustained negative commodity shocks and now get D and D– grades, as do Quebec and the Maritime provinces.
