The FBI wrote King threatening anonymous letters like this one, telling him to kill himself.
And just as they’re doing to Scott Ritter, the FBI circulated rumors of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s alleged extramarital affairs & sexual “immorality” to reporters, in efforts to discredit him.
The FBI also said he was being controlled by the Kremlin.
We didn’t even know about the FBI’s “suicide letter” to #MLK until 2014, when the full letter was finally released to the public.
Imagine the dirt they could have collected (or manufactured) on Dr. King if they’d had the internet in the 1960’s!
Think they’re not using these tools to spy on, entrap, blackmail and/or discredit Scott Ritter?
You’ll have to wait 50 years for FBI to release their Scott Ritter files!
@RealScottRitter, my friend, when you return to Twitter someday and read this thread, please know that many of us stand by you and pray for your safety — we remember what the FBI did to #MLK after all of their other evil efforts to silence him failed.

@TwitterSafety has a “zero tolerance policy” against violent threats. I receive and report hundreds daily from NAFO accounts and report them. Twitter does nothing.
Also, calling for harm against an ethnic group is prohibited — unless of course, they’re of Russian origin…
This Master Thread 🧵 is a collection of my deep dives into 20th Century HIDDEN HISTORY, sourced from declassified documents 🗄 and films 🎥 in US government archives.
The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich is more than just a chronicle of what Bill witnessed in Berlin.
He searches for a deeper “why”: Was the Third Reich a unique, one-time phenomenon, or do humans possess some ever-present receptivity to the appeal of primal, herd-like hatred?
It stands to reason that the masses around the world began to favor #communism after #WWII — out of gratitude to the Soviets for saving them from #fascism.
Evidently this scared the hell out of the fascists in the US government intelligence agencies. 😟
So we had a #ColdWar about it — for the next half century.
