If the #US and #Germany deliver their tanks ammunitions with depleted uranium (DU), #Russia will consider it as a "dirty bomb" and will react accordingly.
The 120mm L5 smoothbore gun on the #German #Leopard2 conforms to the NATO Stanag 4385 standard, as does the F1 gun on the French Leclerc and the M256 on the #US M1 Abrams.

Since the same 120mm ammunition is interoperable and interchangeable among all the tanks, the #Germany #Leopard2 could also use the #US or #French DU rounds.
#German ammunition of #Leopard2 is Tungsten, which is Denser than Depleted Uranium. Tungsten tends to flatten its tip and Mushroom out.
