⭐️About 180 migrants from #Iran, #Afghanistan, #Somalia and #Pakistan were packed into a 17m wooden boat that foundered yards off the coast of southern Italy on Sunday after sailing from #Turkey.
Officials have listed 63 dead, including bodies found at sea and washed up on the beach at Steccato di Cutro in Calabria, and 81 survivors, meaning another 36 people may be lost at sea – taking the total killed to about 100
Survivors of a shipwreck in Italy that killed scores of migrants have claimed they were hurled into the sea by traffickers trying to lighten the boat before it broke up in a storm.
A survivor said four traffickers pushed 20 people overboard before the boat sank. “They saw lights on shore, believed the police were awaiting and changed course, planning to land further along the coast,”

2. That is nearly five times greater than predicted and more than 25 times the change in orbital period required for the mission to be considered a success.
Dimorphos orbits a much larger 2,550ft-wide (780m) object called Didymos 6.8 million miles from #Earth.

⭐️#China is helping #Russia Restore Microchip Purchases
According to Chinese customs, Russia imported $179 million worth of microchips in 2022, an increase of $105 million from a year earlier.
1. Microchips find their way to the Russian market, often from third countries, for example, through Turkey - here the volume of purchases of microchips grew from $79 thousand in 2021 to $3.2 million in 2022.
2. By the way, China is the largest seller and producer of cheap chips. Despite the threat of sanctions, Beijing continues to strengthen trade cooperation with Moscow. This proves that the West's influence on the world is not comprehensive.
