people twist Scripture to say women must submit to their husbands for sex. Don't think it happens? I've heard 5 stories in 1 month 2/?
You know what else is more abrasive? People claiming the name of Jesus while voting to hurt and harm the people He loves. And racism and 3/?
sexism and the idolization of America, the fact that evangelics overwhelmingly voted for Trump, the wall, that people care more about 4/?
guns than people, and more about babies being born than taking care of those babies once they are alive, that there are more churches 5/?
than there are foster kids, but foster kids are sleeping in DSS offices and hotel rooms b/c no one will take them. 6/?
How about the fact that the Church is the only "army" that shoots their wounded. That people will mental illness are shamed & shunned 7/?
That Christian Ghosting is a thing. That "family values" & "God's design for marriage" trumps loving people. The idolization of marriage 8/?
That Christians voted for a man who brags about sexual assault and claim he's God's appointed one That said man's policies are literally 9/?
killing people and Christians are celebrating it. So yeah, I think Jesus is more concerned about Christians who are being assholes than 10/?

Rather than fight against the entrenched the status quo @M_Farmaajo has in fact helped in deeply entrenching Somalia’s unsustainable rent-seeking elite.
One of @M_Farmaajo main election selling point has been his promise to appoint a lean and efficient technocratic cabinet. Since coming to power, in a desperate attempt of self-preservation, @M_Farmaajo has stuffed his government with almost 100-MPs.

Let's talk cross-lagged panel models! A short example/provocation, inspired by some discussion yesterday
Say you have 2 things you're interested in, X and Y, each measured at 2 times. You want to know does X cause Y, Y cause X, or both? (or if you're shy about saying "cause" you say "lead to," "predict," "is a risk factor for," "Granger-cause," etc.).
X and Y could be anything, e.g.:
* Depression and stress
* A personality trait and a social role
* Parental something and child something else
* This brain region and that brain region

So you decide to run 2 regressions:
x2 ~ x1 + y1
y2 ~ x1 + y1

1/ Regarding mTOR, protein, longevity, et al.
It's interesting to me that low carbers & keto people emphasize that breast milk is high in cholesterol & fat, and that babies are often in ketosis, and use this as evidence that keto is a default beneficial state b/c of this.
2/ But breast milk is also pretty high in sugar, but we don't hear many people saying that therefore, we should eat a lot of sugar as adults. Isn't it possible that "optimal" nutrition depends on the particular stage of the life cycle someone is in? Infancy versus twilight yrs?
3/ Is it possible breast milk is high in fat, cholesterol, and sugar because babies *need* a lot of growth, and their brains need a ton of energy at that time in development? What's ideal for an infant might not be ideal for an 88 year old.
