India jumping 30 places in #EaseOfDoingBusiness is gonna pale in comparison to what's around the corner after 2019.

One of the most formidable systemic disruption that Modi is attempting is also the least talked about on SM -The functioning of bureaucracy.

And that's perhaps because the most vocal or popular people on social media are not a part of it so no first-hand info is available.

You may live in a consumption fueled cosmopolitan delusional bubble believing tht it's the private corporations tht move the country forward

But in reality it's bureaucracy that fuels the nations growth & almost everything u consider as a measure of growth -directly or indirectly.

The systemic rot in sarkari agencies is a cancer that’s been allowed to fester & spread everywhere in public life since independence.

The established system needs a serious jolt to shake it out of its lethargy and inertia. And it's happening silently already.

The sweeping changes that are being brought in at an unbelievable pace in the functioning of the lethargic babudom in Delhi are phenomenal.

Most ppl on SM have no idea of the churning that’s taking place at day to day as well as strategic level in central government departments.

The changes in functioning & accountability now in place & increasing exponentially could not even be imagined possible just 3 years back.

The PMO is bypassing ministers frequently and actually directly seeking dialogue with even the second and third rung of bureaucracy.

Those with the traditional view that things move slow & laid down procedures are just a shield for inefficiency would be mighty surprised.

If only you could compare the way all ministries are functioning now as compared to pre 2014 period, most of you wouldn’t believe it.

Radical ideas are being sought directly from young bureaucrats & set to implementation with far reaching consequences at a pretty rapid clip

Far reaching changes are already in motion at various levels of government, starting from the top for now but gonna percolate lower & lower.

The effects of these revolutionary systemic changes in bureaucracy are gonna take a while to bear fruit but it’s surely gonna happen.

BJP’s traditional dependence on traders & small business is gonna be a thing of the past pretty soon.

There are harsh and sweeping changes in public & business policies and their implementation coming in.

If you think the changes already in place are too draconian coz they inconvenience u then oh boy..just brace for what's coming after 2019.

The kind of free wheeling democracy we've had without responsibility and accountability is soon gonna be a thing of the past.

The cozy cash economy, tax frauds, middle class aversion to even minor personal discomforts etc are all gonna be in for a rude shock.

If only u had an inkling of changes & harsher measures in the offing to drill some public sense in us, most of us wud crap our pants.

A whole lot of really radical changes in policies are being planned down to the last details already.

Most of them are immediately gonna be set in motion for implementation after the 2019 elections.

Modi already knows that he does not need the support of the comfortable classes to win the next election.

Lack of any credible opposition to BJP at national level now has is just helping Modi cement his lead even more strongly.

Rather than provide an alternate narrative, the entire game plan of all opposition has now been reduced to just opposing anything Modi does.

Rather than harming his political base, the directionless opposition has probably helped Modi gain more supporters from the fence sitters.

The opposition is now reduced to celebrating inconsequential victories in small battles but losing big time on the war against his politics.

He's a megalomaniac on a mission to change the way things've been done in public domain in the country since independence & he'll achieve it

He doesn't give a fuck bout liberals, LWs, middle class etc coz he knows no matter what he does, these lots will never be satisfied.

And no matter what he does for them, he knows there's no guarantee that most of them will even go out and vote for him on election day.

And clearly he doesn't give a fuck about MSM. SM has enabled unpaid foot soldiers to fight his battles with MSM for their arrogance & bias.

Anyone can now expose the stalwarts of MSM & engage them in a one on one fight. He does not have to waste him time explaining himself to MSM

He knows he can connect directly with people on SM and the days of MSM being opinion shapers, king makers & power brokers are gone already.

The very public bitching and infighting between journo gangs lately is just one of the many signs of their increasing irrelevance.

All erstwhile credible journos have now become laughing stocks everywhere except their own echo chambers of blind Modi haters.

You may hate Modi's guts, megalomania and authoritarian style. You may think he's unsophisticated, crude, down market or just plain crass.

But Modi is a man with a vision and on a mission with a vengeance. Someone who does not care for the status quo or political correctness.

Perhaps he’s exactly the kind of leader we need right now to shake us out of our lethargy & selfish IDGAFness.The kinds who gets things done

Cry all u might against him on social media or wherever else u do. He ain't going anywhere any time soon.
