/ 🗣 A few words about @_thrdr. A few months ago, I noticed that threads are more and more popular on Twitter 📈
/ In addition to the fact that I really enjoy them personally, people are using them to actually blog, which was kind of the first idea of this platform. And like the hashtag #️⃣ and RT 🔁 before, it’s becoming a standard.
A lot of "famous" tw users regularly write and share great stories. If you'd like to follow them, I can think of @chrismessina, @BenedictEvans, @levelsio, @sehurlburt, @joshelman, @marting, @fredwilson... But there are so much more! And not only in the tech industry.
/ In my opinion, this format was not highlighted enough. ⚠️ BUT, recently, it seems like Twitter is paying more attention. They made several attempts & features to point them out.
/ They’re currently testing a tweetstorm beta feature to help you write threads. Not sure when/if they’ll release it to the public.

/ They did communicate on how to properly thread
/ They even have a dedicated documentation for that

/ Twitter itself is using the thread format: in their communication, to talk about their new functionalities (cc @TwitterSupport)
/ Here, they even quote one as an example in their developer documentation

/ Twitter Moments are not threads but to me this was also a step forward to let users express and organize their content in a different way.

/ I actually think Twitter is working on something bigger about threads… 🧐🤫 We’ll see!
/ To me, one of the reasons why Twitter is working on this is because threads are generating engagement. 📢 Also, you stay on Twitter instead of clicking on an article link, then loading a new page. It’s frictionless.
/ Anyway, these are a few of the reasons why I decided to work on @_thrdr and I saw the @ProductHunt Global Hackathon as the perfect opportunity to kick my ass off and ship it! 🥇
/ I think this is an amazing opportunity for Twitter. Users can give and share information, knowledge, stories, personal experiences... And other great contents. Now, my mission with @_thrdr is to offer the best experience ✨
