Tonight was forecast the night ACA repeal went down. A “gentlemen’s” pact that they couldn’t embarsss themselves again. 2/
But they got to shove extra pork in, had no legible product to review and rejected every reasonable amendment. 3/
The fact that it became uncertain in the last 2 days should frankly be a source of embarrassment 4 the Republicans. The bill is that bad.4/
They could have written a good bill— cuttin* loopholes for hedge funds & reducing middle class taxes (4 ppl who stimulate the economy).5/
But repeal failure was so big, they needed corporate donors more than a good bill. 👇

There’s nervousness. About Roy Moore. About WH indictments. For a group that keeps juggling the ball on the 1 yd line, they are nervous.7/
If I’m right, they will worry about what can go wrong in conference, in AL, with more shoes dripping. And so there may not be conference.8b
Maybe they go to conference but if they struggle, Ryan reserves the right to shove the Senate bill down his members throats. 9/
As bad as we know this bill is we will find out all the ways it is worse than we know in the next few days as we see what they’ve added.10/
So let me finish with these points.

2/ No matter what, action beats moaning. There is plenty 2 do that will make a difference including signing ppl up 4 coverage, CHIP, etc.12/
3/ We are about to have an epic face off on the budget & shitting down the govt. & CHIP & DACA are pawns. But Ds have the upper hand.13/
4/ Finally, accountability. Everyone must be held fully accountable for their vote for an unpopular bill that transfers more $ 2 wealthy.14/
