/ Shoutout #ESSCO Earth Science Services Corp. earthscienceservices.ca and the Stargate II (SGII) system.
/ The SGII team always has some interesting things to say on CEO.CA -- see ceo.ca/Stargate2 for more.
/ The SGII system is used to help guide drilling activity. See this map for an example: cdn.ceo.ca.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/1d5kbfe-Fuller… Map that only a geologist could love...
/ Anyway, STARGATE had some interesting things to say about @NewrangeGoldNRG that I wanted to share, starting on January 12th here: ceo.ca/@stargate2?e2e… See some quotes below...
/ "Stratigraphy test holes are very important and the majors deploy such regularly to plan for survey orientation modeling outlines in order to get a handle on the regional "big picture" lithology orientations prior to any major drilling campaigns"
/ "This type of drilling was a very bold move and demonstrates that the company is confident enough about the projects regional scale ore body potentials that are in place to support such testing approaches"
/ "One thing investors should be aware of is that, the testing of geophysical anomalies without having a parallel understanding of the lithology stratigraphy model, will typically result in the drilling of more false positive anomalies and thus more wasted drill holes."
/ "The two drilled stratigraphy holes, will better support the geophysical models and better constrain where future holes will go. It may not look as glamorous initially, but it's clear that this company is looking at things very different than the average junior."
/ I liked those first comments on stratigraphic test holes, which are somewhat unfamiliar to me. I get that you want to know about stratigraphy, but it's interesting to hear how important it can be for exploration work. Big leagues!
/ Stargate2 went on to say "Specific gold endowment measures cannot be reasonably estimated/ modeled at the current project development level, but the scale of the current local systems that are hosting the gold mineralization can indeed be applied against a property-wide...
/ ...structural control model to estimate the volume of possible endowment expanse."
/ "To answer the question, YES, the project has several categories of geological and geophysical data sets in place which would reasonably suggest capacity to conform to the round mountain tonnage volume model."
/ "It's the closest thing to another Round Mountain model in the region" says "STARGATE2" on ceo.ca/NRG $NRG.V
/ We got into some technical geological discussions after that...
/ "Pamlico Stargate II interpretation algorithm modeling returns a very deep-seated system is in place which supports the opinion that gold environment strata should increase with depth. The horizon of high priority resides at approximately 600 meters vertical from surface.
/ Feeder systems are interpreted to be vertically dipping."
/ "Pamlico basement is further interpreted to extend another 300 meters to approximately 900 meters depth." -- that point is just stunning. $NRG.V strat holes didn't reach the basement at 350 meters, so it may be correct!
/ "We thus have a potential 300 meter thick zone of strata which covers a significant portion of the property which is interpreted to be about 60% of the total project land mass.." Wow.
/ And STARGATE2 helped tie it all together with some comments on the philosophy of geological exploration that I found helpful and encouraging for $NRG.V
/ "The preceding post is important for investors to understand, as local scale level gold showings, no matter how attractive they may appear at first encounter, need to be treated and approached cautiously until structural and geological parallels on a project-wide scale can...
/ ...be demonstrated to exist to support expansion upon, and that such scales need to be at minimum standards to support ongoing development economics."
/ "The majors always approach project exploration with scalability considerations in mind. If early indications are not in place to demonstrate the requisite conditions to expand upon any local gold showings apply to the big picture model then they will often bail.
/ The Newrange exploration approach at Pamlico is clearly demonstrating that management are aware of this."
/ Keep up the great work STARGATE2. Thanks for sharing your insight into the high-quality exploration work that @NewrangeNRG is doing at their #PamlicoProject in Nevada.
