Listen up, serious work today. I aim to liberate you from the HOLD your hidden fears have on you, the ones YOU keep hidden. Not the fears that spur you to action (which sometimes serve a valuable purpose)--but rather the ones that exert a stranglehold and hold you prisoner.
Here's the thing about the hold our hidden fears--small or great--have on us: such FEARS SURVIVE ONLY IN DARK, unexamined, unexplored. That's what our fears don't want us to know! When we take them out of dark, expose them to harsh light of a detailed critical LOOK--they vanish.
CONQUER FEAR TECHNIQUE: Works whether fear holding you back from starting a venture or asking for raise or asking crush on a date: 1) Complete: "I haven't [action steps] because [fear]; 2) use imagination to write out IN DETAIL what'd happen in near/far term if fear came to pass.
BTW, many times it's not actually FEAR holding you back! Sometimes we don't take action about something and we ASSUME it's because we're afraid. Sometimes it's something else entirely. Many "fears" are projected onto our failure to act, sometimes it's an INTUITION not to act!
For guys: let's say you're afraid to ask someone on date, afraid even to approach. You may make utter fool of yourself. She and maybe her friends may laugh in your face. I'll let you in on secret. Later, maybe that night, when alone she'll realize, "Damn, he was brave."
