1/ Nick Timothy @NickJTimothy (the architect of Hard Brexit) says in his recent column that the EU is trying to keep the UK in Single Market, using Ireland as a pretence. This simply isn't true.
3/ The Eu will only start 'dictating terms' therefore, if the UK fails to present credible proposals.
4/ but Mr Timothy and others (Legatum for example) say that the UK ***already has*** made concrete proposals for the Irish border (new technologies, blockchain, ANPR, trusted traders AEO, special Customs warehouses etc etc) and the EU are just ignoring these proposals.
5/ we could start talking about the fact that the high tech, soft Norway/Sweden Border still isn't frictionless and requires staff and infrastructure despite both sides being in the EEA. But we won't. bbc.co.uk/news/technolog…

7/ but let's say that we are wrong and Mr Timothy and his hard Brexit pals are right. There is a simple way to shut us up, shut the remainers up and shut the EU up. Show us the plan. That's it.
8/ e.g. tell us the name of the company that will be manufacturing the cameras. The unit cost per camera. The cost of the uniforms and equipment and computer servers for the new invisible border agents. What's the name of the new computer system?
9/ How much of the work will be done by the private sector? Will there be private tenders? Has the government had any quotes? If there is a project to make an invisible border it should have already begun. If it hasn't, somebody is bluffing. /End
