1. We present to you; for your humble consideration two futures. Each at this moment both equally likely. 
2. Future one: the UK strikes the best deal with the EU based on efta precedents. We join Switzerland and Iceland in efta.
3. The UK goes from strength to strength signing trade deals around the world. We take back essential sovereignty.
4. There are a few politicians who grumble on either side but the issue of brexit is resolved.
5. Or - the alternative. The UK leaves the EU either with no deal or a crap deal.
6. The economic fall out is the smallest worry. There will probably be a recession but that isn't the worst of it.
7. The Scots will say their wishes haven't been respected and will push for a second referendum. There will be a push for a reunification referendum in Ireland. The UK could disintegrate.
8. There will be a push to take away the UK permanent seat at the UN Security Council. What's left of the UK will really be diminished and rendered impotent. We will be crawling for a deal with Trump's USA that will mean we will have to be a rule taker to both USA and EU.
9. We will be a diminished, fading polity with no power and no say. Restricted, controlled, outvoted and subsumed. Utterly ridiculous, screwed and hopeless.
10. The only pleasure that will come is the inevitable public enquiry that will name those whose actions lead to this doom. The problem is, the main players will be gone, sunning themselves in the Seychelles.
11. Whereas the useful idiots of brexit who can't afford high priced lawyers will be hung out to dry...
