Sure let's make some predictions for the next $crypto bullrun:
1a. GPU-algo PoW chains will have a hell of a time dealing with the sudden hashrate dropoffs from auto-switching to more profitable jobs than $mining, until an equilibrium is found, which will take awhile.
What kind of jobs? ML, AI, rendering, AWS compute competing...
1b. This'll lead to chain attacks whereby fake jobs are posted to deliberately lower a chain's nethash and thus the threshold to attack it.
ASIC PoW networks won't have this substitutability so they won't be vulnerable to this vector.

1. I'm now thinking the chances of leaving the EU with a deal are now 50/50. To avoid a major political crisis the government is going to have to do some pretty fast learning. They still do not know what game they are playing. They still think this is a negotiation. (thread)
2. For a multitude of technical and legal reasons the options are limited. There can be no progress until the UK makes a decision between either the EEA or an FTA. There is no a la carte Brexit. This does not seem to be sinking in.
3. All the chatter would seem to indicate that May will adopt the goods only single market concept. This has already been rejected by Brussels and a formalised proposal will also be rejected. It just can't happen.
