Part 1. Why are the Kochs so involved in politics? Why are they funding this push for a Constitutional Convention? Why are they spending all this money? Yes, they have this agenda from the Libertarian 1980 platform that I made and people post. But most of those items are peanuts.
As a privately, held company, Koch Industries, Inc. does not have to report annual profits and revenues. According to Forbes Magazine at the fiscal end of 2016, Koch Industries was ranked #2 in “America’s Largest Private Companies” with an estimated worth of $100 billion.
The other items are peanuts, compared to the environment. Think about it. How do the Kochs make money? Koch Industries is a privately held multinational corporation based in Wichita, Kansas.
Koch Industries is the largest landowner in the Athabasca oil sands.

Tar sands are large deposits of bitumen or extremely heavy crude oil, Its subsidiaries (Invista, Georgia-Pacific, Molex, Flint Hills Resources, Koch Pipeline, Koch Fertilizer, Koch Minerals, Matador Cattle Company, and Guardian Industries)...
All these companies are involved in the manufacturing, refining, and distribution of petroleum, chemicals, energy, fiber, intermediates and polymers, minerals, fertilizers, pulp and paper, chemical technology equipment, ranching, finance, commodities trading, and investing.
Other than the categories of finance, commodities trading, and investing (3 total), do you see a pattern? All these companies cause a lot of pollution when they produce their products.
And when the local, state or federal government finds out that you have been polluting, they fine you. Sometimes they sue you.

And 14th on the list of TOXIC 100 Air Polluters Index (2018 Report, based on 2015 data):
Can you believe that it was REPUBLICAN President Nixon that created the Environmental Protection Agency in the 1970s? But that's not it. He also supported the Clean Air Act of 1970, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the National Environmental Policy Act...
Nixon created cabinet-level Council on Environmental Quality, (CEQ), The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Earth Week (1971), The Clean Water Act (1972), Endangered Species Act (1973), Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972, Safe Drinking Water Act of 1974...
And the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969. In short, #Climatechange=nonpartisan. It's not a #Democrat vs. Republican thing. That was manufactured. By whom? The Koch Brothers.
Here’s a thread that explains how the Kochs manipulated the public—mainly Republicans—to believe that climate change is a hoax.
Part 2 is next. Thanks for reading.
#Climatechange is real
