1.Thread on why we need to expose the swamp. Remember this from A Few Good Men? The Col. Jessup Monologue
2.Does this sound familiar?nypost.com/2018/01/23/evi… " it’s as if a scandal of this magnitude is more than America can bear — so let’s pretend there’s nothing to see and move along."
3."Of the eleven uses of the Espionage act, seven have been by the Obama administration" Did you know that? This means Obama was not a friend of whistleblowers. It also means he thought he knew better on your behalf.nau.edu/uploadedFiles/…
4.What do you think? Why did we elect a man like @realDonaldTrump Was it because we can't handle the truth? If it does not threaten our national security, then why shouldn't we know the truth? Why shouldn't we fight for good?
5.After the Schneiderman scandal came out, I immediately saw several tweets calling for Hillary Clinton to be considered to fill that spot. Yes, THAT Hillary Clinton. How in HELL does anyone call for that with what is now in the public domain?Denial.
6.Why are so many in powerful positions saying we can't handle the ugly truth about Clinton, Weiner laptop, Benghazi, Unmasking, U1--the long list of lies, corruption and crimes committed by Obama, Clinton and the 8 years of hell we suffered here in America.
7. What is it that would make someone nominate HRC for a powerful position even after all we have seen?Lies, denial and a belief that things cannot change for the better--that the paradigm cannot shift.
8.Denial is a powerful defense mechanism. It serves to protect us from things we don't want to see or feel or hear. Denial affects your choices and prevents you from making good choices. Taken to extremes, denial can make you delusional.
9.Remember that tweet calling for Hillary to replace Schneiderman? Look it up. Actually there were several. They called her "esteemed". Really? Esteemed? Denial. I didn't get WOKE to go back to my hole in the sand. What about you?
10.I also saw someone say that we can't handle what is on Weiner's Laptop, the connections to the Clintons that are so horrible that it made grown men cry. thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/i… There was some seriously bad stuff on that computer.
12.Where am I going with this, you ask? I believe that Donald Trump was elected to drain the WHOLE swamp, not just the parts that the FBI, DOJ, Obama holdovers and Rinos "think you can handle."
13.I have seen people from congress, pundits, Comey, you name it--say that exposing the swamp will destroy our institutions. Wow. Okay. Corrupt institutions need to be protected? NO
14.Our country is strong because of the rule of law and the constitution. The Founding Fathers (WE THE PEOPLE) put forth the constitution to establish Justice, secure Liberty and ensure domestic Tranquility.
15. Corruption, Lies, unfettered power are not foundational ideals. Those ideals are enjoyed in places like Venezuela whose populace is currently eating dirt for breakfast.
16. Investigations are under way to drain the swamp. President Trump is doing his part. I will not allow "those who know better" to dictate what parts of the truth I can handle. We have to do our part.
17.When was the last time you saw @realDonaldTrump stand down? He faces unprecedented slander from every direction for as far as the eye can see. When was the last time you heard him say, "This can't be done." NEVER
18.I can guarantee you that he knows and sees things that would make even the most hardened of us run and hide. But he knows the only way forward is to go through. @POTUS will fight for us regardless of our will to see the swamp for what it is.
19. However, I do know that it is much easier for him to withstand the headwinds with us behind him. Do not allow yourself to be told what you can handle. Do not give in to denial. The kind of corruption we see here will not go away with "hoping it does."
20. Use your frustration with the process and your feelings of helplessness at times to fight the urge to put your head in the sand. We are still a country where We the People matter. Do not think your voice is too small.
21.“Never underestimate the power of the human mind to believe what it wants to believe, no matter the conflicting evidence.” Denial. Don't let it obfuscate the truth.
22.Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. Margaret Mead
The belief that we can change this is foundational in our country.
23.I will never forget this recent, sparsely covered speech. @realdonaldtrump slips a comment in to let us know he hasn't forgotten. He knows what needs to be done thehill.com/homenews/admin…
24. So next time you hear someone on tv telling you that you can't handle the truth. Or next time someone on Twitter says wahhh it is taking too long. Nothing will ever happen. Go ahead. Give up. Have at it.
25.I would rather stare the bastards down and do everything in my power to annihilate them. Our fates are in our hands. The fate of our country is at stake. Use the time we have to do it now. Don't blow it.
