Didn't you find the inclusion of the sequel to #BreathoftheWild in the #NintendoSwitch #OLED advertisement a bit odd, despite the fact that they could have just as well used other titles like Skyward Sword given its upcoming release?

As I had mentioned at the beginning of the year, the title was slated for the anniversary, but with the covid delays the plans have shifted to a 2022. The team will certainly take advantage of these extra months, to increase the quality of the game...
but if you think that will be released in 2022 late, even postponed again in 2023, I'm sure that Nintendo will give you a nice surprise 😉

Exhibit A) Stylized eye symbols on both the スフィアマスター "Sphere Masters" (localized as Zant's Hand) and the usurper king's robes.*

*Note: There are eye symbols on the back of the Fused Shadows, the Twilight throne, and true form Midna's cloak as well.
Exhibit B) There's a symbol of concentric rings with barring on the Sphere Masters' fingertips and on its instep (backside). This glyph closely resembles the metal clasps on the Zonai-made Barbarian Gear!

I can't stop thinking about #BreathoftheWild and how much potential a sequel has, which kinda makes me worried about developing expectations that are too high. I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. But when are we ever going to get more info on it???

I know I am pretty late compared to the rest of the crowd with this but I'm going to go ahead anyway:

I got #LuigisMansion3 for Christmas and I finished it last week. Overall, I think it's a fantastic game and a must-play if you own a Nintendo Switch!

Honestly, I think I only have two real complaints:

1. The critical health alert can get very irritating at times, to the point where it detrimental
2. The 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘳 mode is very difficult for single players and could do with player number scaling

As I said, they are very minor criticisms and both could easily be taken care of via game patches.

Some cool things like why their normal maps look weird

These are the source files ripped from the WiiU version (I dont condone such actions) but it is cool to see behind the scenes ;)

So why do the normals look weird? Normals look green because they removed all normal info from the blue channel and instead store their glossiness map there. So normal maps need just R & G channels? No.

(second pic is smoothness stored in B channel of normal)
So this trick is not really new, examples can be found in valve games and things like quake. So it is possible to calculate the blue channel of a normal map when you only have R & G. So there are many games that calculate B in the shader.
