The popularity of #Army Goodwill #Schools can be measured by the fact that there is a growing clamour by local population for opening more such schools. Approximately 14500 #Kashmiri students are currently studying in these schools.

Approximately 1500 students from economically weaker sections are receiving scholarships. Most of the students benefiting from these #scholarship #schemes have also been assisted in obtaining admissions in institutes outside of #Jammu and #Kashmir.

Besides imparting quality education these Goodwill #Schools are also providing employment to qualified youth of the State. As on date nearly 1000 teaching & non teaching staff is employed in various Goodwill schools.

The Kashmir Super 30 project is another initiative by #Army in 2013-2014. A total of 208 students have undergone coaching till 2019 in the institution with 182 getting selected in various engineering colleges across #India (8/36)
